You are probably as annoyed now as we were during the weekend with the shenaniganson CB. The last thing we want is a closedown, but the site definitely needs something.
For a long long time now, Chatterbank has regularly been assaulted at weekends. Weirdos were winkled out and despatched pretty damn quick along with their abusive posts by either Spare Ed or the lady Weekend Ed. However there is now a tendency to use supposed impartial moderators,with limited powers, to keep an eye on posts and mop up during the weekends. Clearly this is not being totally successful. From a personal angle I see one of my close friends (A.Guest) has been suspended although their posts remain and show no signs of abuse to anyone.

Overzealous mods maybe?

Why sir? It's an easy enough question to answer isn't it? Surely you know whether you're also A.Guest dont you?

I personally don't mind if you are, nowt to do with me, just don't try to give us some flannel by saying A.Guest is a "close friend". And if you really don't want the rest of us to know, privately email the ed about it or don't mention a particular user in the first place. ;-)

However, the present Eds. do a good job in my opinion. I still think that suspension for any reason should see an automatic removal until the Eds are able to do their job.

I'm not getting at you sir.prize, really i'm not, just think it's a bit laughable stating another user, who's really you in the first place, is a close friend.

I liked Lady Ed too, mind you, i've nowt against this present Ed either. As creeping as this sounds, i happen to think they do a stirling job, given the twonks (ie, us) they have to babysit.
