Naughty word substituting on AB.

Earlier I was using the word t*at on a thread and it came out as "snag" after I'd posted. Is there any other naughty word you can think of and what is their substitute word on Answerbank?

Thanks WY....I was joking when I asked SB to put the words into English. Although I was being truthful about Welsh not being the language of South Gower. North Gower however becomes almost another country.

I think AB's Swear Filter is a waste of time, because there are ways around it. If people feel it necessary to use expletives then why not just ignore them.

It is very rarely that I use bad language in AB. So having perhaps had my fair say in this thread, I shall not be offended if flobadob you say to me..... " Remove yourself by copulation. :-)☺☺☺

There WAS a time on AnswerBank when one couldn't refer to Scunthorpe or wristwatch because of the four-letter sequences they included. Ah, such days of innocence!

I think there is a reasonable argument to include Scunthorpe in the filter purely because it's Scunthorpe TBH :)
