A friend claims that there are French slang expressions that when translated into English are 'eating the onion' (oral sex, performed on either gender) and 'the English are coming' (not tonight, love, got my period). Anyone else heard these?

She put him off, saying 'It's the wrong week'. He recalled being really puzzled about how any week could be the 'wrong' one for what he was after, bless him.
Years ago, I heard that in Germany menstruation is referred to as 'Der Rote Konig' - The Red King. Don't know whether that's old-fashioned now. Interesting that it had a masculine name, though.
