Whilst I look forward to Meryl's undoubtably masterful portrayal of Mrs Thatcher, being a 'leftie', I would've preferred a more appropriate actor - such as Bela Lugosi or Boris Karloff...but alas, they're no longer with us.

Seriously though...are you happy with the choice or Meryl? Or would you have preferred a British actress....like Lassie.

Sorry...sorry.

Lassie was an actor, wasn't he?
Helen Mirren might have been born for the part.
Jim Broadbent as Denis will be good (as always)
Alistair Sim would have been a good Denis.
Thatcher's son could play Arthur Scargill
Richard E. Grant as Michael Heseltine? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1007029/
Alexander Roach as the young Thatcher... that'll be just the manger scene, I sxpect.
Lassie was a male portraying a bitch.

So what's the problem?
.
pah, Alexandra of course
Look whos playing Christopher Soames. He's fat too thin. I wonder is Fred Emney resting just now?
Christopher Lloyd (in Back to the Future mode) for Keith Joseph?

It's good to know that the great traditions of debate and its junior partner 'banter' are preserved and protected in the name of tolerance and good humour by the bloke in the white frock and the coal scuttle.

Whatever could THAT mean?
When my favourite activity was legalised it took all the fun out of it.
