when I lived in Sharjah UAE [ next town to Dubai] in th 80s there was a young Brit there who had his own band they were called Dick Ticker and the Palpatations and Dicky used to wear an old fashioned prison suit with arrows on it , made by the local tailor out there.
Does anyone else remember him or what happened to him,he used to play in a pub called The Nell Gwynne, boy those were the days.

well he couldnt exactly help little old ladies across the street, the main thoroughfare thanks to the locals driving habits was known as kamakee alley.

Yes, I worked in the Nell Gwynne in 1980! Dicky you Ticker was my friend Terry Welsh, sadly he died over 10 years ago. Felix
