Heavens to betsy, the young albas have rigged up a bit of defunct washing line, wonderful slope and are now looking for Ken and Barbie and other plastic thingies to slide down it.

Do hope the kitty is staying out of the way lol

I am trying to think of something to say about your little boys playing with Ken and Barbie - but I failed. I am going to have to ponder over it.

once, on the golfie, they found bits of Ken and Barbie whilst taking the pooch for a walk.
I never dared ask them which was Ken and which was Barbie.

Have you battened down the hatches for SD and Gness arriving in Perthshire later this year?

Yep, think it's time to dismantle the gazebo, what a wet Summer we have. Still, others around the world ha e much more to be worried about.
Wrapping the house in cotton wool in readiness Albs :o) Just taken some pictures today and put them on facebook. also a picture of what the back looked like when we moved in !
My washing has been like a fiddlers elbow all afternoon. Wish it would make its mind up.(not the fiddlers elbow!)

My Daughter and grandkids are in Orlando... I'm so trying not to worry too much :o(
On one hand it's a glorious day, fresh but a lovely china blue sky - then suddenly a rain shower which seems odd as few clouds about but looks pretty sparkling on the water and casting reflections on the ceiling.

It's a bit glum up in west Yorkshire with the rain and dark clouds "but we will never surrender" to the elements.
