Do We Ever Really Care Who Lived In Our...

Not life or death, but advice much needed! Thanks to Freegle some years ago I acquired the above printer.Use it with 2 antique laptops which are all but useless but for the "they work with the printer"aspect. They are essentially ballast. Running Vista but actually XP machines!I feel like a hoarder, but the driver won't work with windows 10, so printer useless with my modern laptop. My question: should I get shut of the printer and the laptops and simply buy a printer if I need one again (and it is possible,it's alright saying just email documents but you can run into compatability issues if you don't use Word/Office and I don't)? Can any of you sensible types think of a solution? My spare room looks like a tech graveyard! I can't bring myself to recycle stuff that has a purpose but can't commit to a solution. Anyone? I can't make decisions to save my life.
I've got a very old PC that runs Linux quite happily, but I do like fiddling and messing about with various OS. If you only use a printer occasionally you may not need to buy one, my local library charges 8p per A4 to print. Yours might have a similar scheme.
If you don't use your old tech - get rid. You'll feel better when it's gone
Selling your old printer and laptop can be a smart way to declutter your space while funding the purchase of newer models. Websites like Mercari, Gumtree, and Preloved simplify listing these items. Many enjoy tinkering with older devices for personal use or as a hobby, which can make your old gear appealing even if it's not the latest model. Additionally, many who have already upgraded to newer tech often sell their not-so-old equipment at a bargain price.
