I've never been there, so don't know of any.  I'm willing to bet that I'm not alone.

I know of one LA district and it is associated with films.

Perhaps they were thinking of Grauman's Chinese Theatre.  That's world famous.

They often host the premier where it's made. Anyway the actual answer is irrelevant. Chinatown is a silly answer, that's the point.
