I'm 19 years old and for the last month and a half been very inactive due to continous sickness (like burst eardrum, colds, fevers etc) and mental health issues.
During this time my body has started hurting (I've mostly been in bed, sometimes moved to desktop or around the house. Not much really...A walk once or twice during this time. Pain is in the legs for the most part) and now that I'm feeling better I want to start moving again.
Will me moving again help stopping my body from aching?
What excercises would you suggest I do to warm my body back into working out/moving alot again?
If you could get to see a physiotherapist, they could probably give you specific exercises to help with the pain and to strengthen the muscles in your legs. I saw one when I had Sciatica and the exercises I was given were very effective.
Do something you're likely to keep up. Swimming is the best exercise but take some medical advice about your ears first. Rowing on a machine uses the most muscles of anything except swimming but is deadly boring. Walking is a good start as it's the easiest to organise. Whatever you decide upon, do it!!!
