Dental Repair Kit

Filling fell out this morning (second time in a few months) obviously cant get to see a dentist. Have bought a repair kit/tempory filling.
Anyone used one before?
Im a bit of a wuss when it comes to dental stuff :-(
Tooth a bit sensitive. Are they easy to do. Is it best if some on else does it for you?
Got be done, just a bit loathe to do it so any tips appreciated.

I guess it depends what it exposes and if it is causing great pain, some fillings aren't very deep.

My understanding is that they are not allowed to undertake procedures that may involve droplets spraying - that includes fillings and scaling/polishing

Our dentist (MyDentist) has sent us an email defining non-urgent, urgent and "straight to A&E" problems; lost fillings are classed as non-urgent and should be treated at home or call your usual dentist.

Rang up dentist (answering machine) and got given another number. Was told that fillings were not an emergency and to buy the dental repair kit. Also told (as pointed out by Toorak) that any procedure involving spraying was on hold.

Wouldnt have minded if they just took the bloody thing out. Think they will eventually anyway..it wont hold a filling. Second time that its fell out in a couple of months.
