Scrubber or a slob?
14 Answers
I took my daughter round to her friends today and was shocked at the state of the house. Mostly by the bird feather remains that the cat had brought in. So are you a tidy person - scrubber or a slob who doesnt believe in cleaning?

I do like the house looking nice and tidy and clean but there always seems something else more interesting to do so it doesn't always get done! The thing is though I can have the house really clean and tidy and no-one ever comes round, if I let it slide for a few days (which always means it looks as though I haven't done any housework for weeks!) then that's the time I get people popping in!
I'm a scrubber too..although I do like to think I am somewhere in between the two, as I am not that worried about mess ~ but I do think things should be hygenic..to a certain standard anyway.
The things I can't stand are:
newspapers all over the place
dirty toilets
kitchen work surfaces covered in sugar/equipment/rubbish

I suppose Im a slob. My bed linen and towels dont match. I hoover when the follr looks like it needs it and I wash the kitchen floor when it is dirty. I tidy things up but if I am likley to need it within the next few days I wont bother. My shoes are put away though. I do not iron pants, boxers, socks, towels,or bed linen and my husbands side of the bedroom floor looks like a 12 year old lives there.
Cobwebs are good they catch dust and give the spiders somewhere to live. I wash the windows when the sun shines on them and exagerates how mucky they are.
Do I qualify as a slob.
Having said all that my kids are rarely ill and neither are the adults or the dogs.
