Is there such a word as fesescious and if so is this the correct spelling? What can you say about its origins or anything else?

Well I think you mean facetious, and I assume the word originates from faeces - in other words, cra p.
Actually I think it comes from the Latin for joke, or jest- facetia - and it means trying (but not necessarily succeeding) to be funny.

Well it was a guess. I mean, when you are being that way the person it's aimed at thinks you are talking cra p.
along with abstemious, it's the only word with all the vowels in the right order. (If you think Y is a vowel, then facetiously.)

Hence our word 'facetious'.
