Final Speech

What is the word for the speech at a funeral which describes the dead person. I have used the words, Oration, Peroration, Apostrophe, but I think there is another word with exactly defines the last speech in honour of the dead man. Can anyone help?

Thank you both. I had considered;- valedictory address, funeral oration, (or peroration) apostrophe, disquisition, and others, however I think eulogy, followed perhaps by oration are better.

Eulogy actually means a speech (ie oration) in praise or, specifically, a funeral oration, so there is no need to add the word oration to it.

Thank you for the extra info. The "followed by" was simply an order concept not the desire to use the two words - however I see what you mean. Thanks to one and all
