French bulldog skin problems
4 Answers
Does anyone own a french bulldog who suffers with skin problems?
I got a frenchie from a rescue home and i knew when i adopted him he had problems with his skin. However, at the time of taking him he was on steriods so it didnt look that bad. Once the steriods finished, his skin flared up and it is a fulltime job trying to keep his scratching under control.
Just wanted to know if anyone else has had the same problems and if they knew of any handy tips for keeping the dog comfortable without having to use steriods. He has just been allergy tested and is going to have therapy for that as he is allergic to clover, cat skin and dust mites!
Thanks

The dog was a black coated crossbred, with what seemed to be a type of eczema. This routine cleared the problem in about 3 weeks, but he had the sunflower oil in his food for the rest of his life, with no further problem.
