I agree with Mike
Anyone of an age to remember when these old imperial measurements were helpfully listed on the back cover of exercise books. I always remember "rod, pole or perch" as being of equal value, though I never had the opportunity to use them in calculations. Computing yards, chains, furlongs and miles was taxing enough.
