legend = toe and toosie-wootsie is what you might say to young children

Thanks bibblebub. An incredibly weak clue.
maybe there's better wordplay bit it's escaping me at present

p.s. tootsie-wootsie can also be used for the foot, which is used as 'leg end = foot' more often than toe.
