K Mepham (if it's her) is beginning to annoy.
13a (DEIGN) is to do something below ones dignity - clue is incorrect
21d (SEJEANT) is an unknown spelling - should be SEJANT.

Agree with 21, I saw sejeant suggested earlier, and I didn't like deign either (although I suggested it as an answer).
What is the clue for deign?
Chambers gives sejeant as an alternative spelling.
Deign - "...to think it fit or worthy of oneself (to do something)..." (Collins)

Sejeant is in both Collins & Chambers as an alternative spelling
clue was 13a think it appropriate to one's dignity (5) ??i?n
I'm happy with deign. You would not deign to do something you felt was beneath your dignity.
Assuming Boxtops has quoted the clue correctly that is stretching the meaning of deign slightly.
Agree sejeant is OK

But Collins (Concise) also has Condescend, which agrees with the OED Concise and is not the same as to think it worthy of oneself. OED Concise does not have Sejeant. So maybe they are valid but, for someone without the full dictionaries, unnecessarily abstruse!
Question Author
The OED Concise "to do something BELOW ones dignity" may be a misleading usage, since the source is the latin verb DIGNARE - to deem worthy. So I concede.
