Like me more than a friend?

well,there's this guy we have gone on a date once since then we talk to each other for about 5 months. He thinks than I'm too young ( he's 23 and i'm 17) and that we should be friends.
But we're not friends! I mean he doesn't tell me much about his life neither do I.We talk about my studies,daily things that concern me( not him) and random stuff l.We often talk about 'us dancing very close to his b-day' etc but he's always like you're young, understand that i could easily take advantage of you but i don't, you tried to kiss me etc But I can't understand why bother talking to me so many months if he's not interested as we be more than 'friends'?
yesterday, he implied that he always talk to whoever talks to him because he wants to be polite. So i said him ok i will never talk to you first again,be selective!Today morning, he talked to me and he was really sweet.
I really like him but I can't understand me. If he doesn't like me why bother so much about me?

I agree with you but i still think your too young for him. 23 or a little too old and it wudnt really be accepted until your 18.

to be honest if a guy likes you - He will make it happen. Its that simple. If a guy is into you & wants you...his actions will speak louder than words.

One more thing, try playing a little hard to get, always let him text you first and when he does, wait a few hours before replying. Dont show him your overly keen. Many men want what they cant have. Be less available and see if he comes running when you appear to be not so keen. I he doesnt bother? Well theres the answer, move on to someone who realises how special you are. Good Luck.
