Back from the Golf Open

We're home this evening after a few days in Kent. Yesterday we went to the British Golf Open in Sandwich, Kent - it was wet and windy but enjoyable all the same.

What a wonderfully worthy winner we had in Darren Clarke.

Sober because we've driven home today DT!

It was a great win for Darren but I have to admit, I did miss seeing a few more of the big names out there on the course challenging him for it.

Destiny Maidup, destiny - bit like Ben Crenshaw at the Masters the year he won. Look at those two sklinned shots and how the eagle came in, just as PM had moved close.....

His iron play was pretty good though.......and he seemed very serene. The Big Heather was watching him and at 150-1 had a grand on him upstairs.
