Still trying to figure out some of yesterday's Telegraph - think its too tough for me! Any help with the following would be appreciated.

the thing with cryptics is that although there are some 'standard' clues and meanings each paper / setter is quite different. Stick with them you will get used to them :-)

Thanks for that Chelle - I will try it again. It's quite satisfying when you get to the end and I've learnt a lot of vocabulary to boot! To speak of which I am nearly at the end - one last one if anyone can help.
