Users who may not be able to reply to questions

Ed- it is sometimes noted that some posters fail to acknowledge answers or create new threads instead of continuing their existing thread, and it is generally assumed that the reasons are either rudeness, genuinely not realising that a question poster can reply to their own thread or possibly an inability to find one's original question.
But maybe there is a genuine technical problem with some browsers. This poster, for example, has created several threads in which he claims he doesn't get a SUBMIT button when he tries to enter a response.

There have been other posters who have asked how to reply to a post (e.g. junglejim75 recently) but fail to do so even when we give a step by step guide. Maybe junglejim gets no SUBMIT button.
And maybe this explains why Roget has asked 100 questions but has never given a single answer despite lots of encouragement to do so.
Is there a known problem, Ed, with certain browsers or devices? If so, it might be worth letting us know so we can be more understanding of those who ask questions but never provide answers.
Thanks.

Yes, Bethmiss has resolved the problem now by upgrading to Firefox.
I' ll let junglejim75 and roget know that this may be the cause of their problems

We've found that in certain build's of IE6 the submit button can, sometimes, go walkabouts.
We encourage anyone still using IE6 to upgrade to a newer version:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/in
ternet-explorer/products/ie/home
or switch to FireFox or Chrome.
IE6 is pretty much redundant - Microsoft has nearly stopped supporting it (and they're only doing that because it is bundled with XP)

I think your flogging the proverbial dead horse in regard of Roget's lack of manners since he/she can manage to start extraneous threads to chivvy for answers yet cannot be bothered to start an extraneous thread to acknowledge aid.
