As you all know I wish to become a same day courier. I am now a lot nearer to this goal as I now have a van and the correct insurance for this van. My next step is to write a letter to many companies offering them my services. As we never get a second chance to make a first impression then I was wondering if you could help me out here.

Have any of you ever done this line of work and can you help me find a good example of a speculative letter for a courier? If I do not find this soon then my new career will be very short lived.

Thanks in advance for your ever speedy and helpful replies.

aren't most courriers self employed?
work comes from good feedback - good feedback comes from good work . A few well chosen words wont make any difference in the real world . You've chosen a very competitive market ! Imho the only way to break into this market would be to use a solar powered juggernaut delivering giros to unemployed delivery drivers
Try printing an A5 flyer and post these through the letter-boxes of local industrial estates
Hi JonnyBoy12, if it is of any help, the first thing I would want to know, is: would I be able to work out the cost of your services very quickly in order to inform my customers how much it would cost them to use your courier service, or would I have to keep ringing you to ask you, how much would it cost to send XXXXX to XXXXX. ?
p.s. Good luck with your new venture. This is not meant as a put-off, it is meant as something to think about.
