new laptop batterieds only lasting an hours...

i have just bought a new laptop battery - refurbished i believe, and was promised they are very long lasting...

it lasted about an hour.

they have sent me new one as they say it must be faulty...but that one only lasted an hour and a quarter...


they said it should be minimum of 2 hours but probably about 3

are they just a crap company/battery, or is there something on my laptop that could be draining it fast?

all i am doing is surfing the net though - nothing else is playing or being used or plugged into it....just a wireless adapter

havent even got my external fan on.

any ideas?

i let it drain to empty on first use, then charged it all day and then left it connected all night too, so it should have been fully charged.
