Printer query, Spooling??

I just installed new printer, but i am having trouble printing. Error codes 103-100003 etc.etc. and also the word SPOOLING (whats that) keep appearing . The software of my old printer is still installed but i made the new one my default printer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

First thing to check is that you actually followed the instructions when installing your new printer. Just about all printers require you to run the installation BEFORE connecting the printer, whereas an awful lot of people connect the printer first and then have problems.

If you did it the wrong way round, you need to uninstall the printer software and start again.

Next thing to check is that the printer drivers are up to date.
