FireFox Tab box.

Today I got a message up to say that Firefox was now in the safe mode, and did I want to continue with it in the safe mode?
It then gave me various boxes to tick ie, to keep my add-ons.menu bars etc I obviously kept those but I seem to remember I left un-ticked a box I didn't understand.
Since then Tab box at the top L/H corner, underneath File-Edit-View- History-Bookmarks-Tools-Help, always contains the web page I happen to be on, whereas before it was always Answerbank which I could click on and get straight there.
I can no longer do this, what have I done wrong please?

No, a system restore won't effect firefox at all (or certainly not in the way you want)
I'm not sure if I get what you are saying TBH... if you are saying that the far left tab is not always AB then why not goto AB on that tab and then open a second tab using the + button to the right of the AB tab and then you can use the second tab for what ever you want.
