is anything going to be done to restore the backspacing facility-i have read the post about installing firefox but don't want to do that-can we not return to situation pre tuesday,using google???????????otherwise might have to abandon ab in favour of other sites

Lashley, there have been several threads on this topic and yes, the Eds and the techies are working on it. You have to be patient, as do the rest of us!

This post really should be in Ed's blog (or email him direct via the Contact us button below), he's not likely to see it in Crosswords....

What browser are you using, lashley?

I use Google Chrome, and haven't had any problems.

Mind you, the apotheosis thread doesn't show in "Recent posts", so all's not well somewhere, perhaps it's patchy like the Gravatar problem was?

Sorry, jno, the Apotheosis thread has been going over a month, now approaching 500 posts, and stopped showing only a few days ago.
