has anybody used 2gether breakdown cover insurance, it looks very cheap?
hi, i am looking for a reasonable breakdown cover as my AA is running out soon. i googled and found out about www.motorbreakdownrecovery.com, this company is very cheap, £35.95 for annual breakdown cover including home start. i was wondering if anybody has had any experience with this company and if they are real (its hard to believe their cheap prices) and if they are any good. thanks in advance.

I've never heard of them. Their insurance products get very varied reviews:

However I can personally recommend this service:

I Have 2gether UK & EU breakdown Ins After a recent problem In France And having to call them I found the service and attitude disgusting, they do not tell you when first taking out the cover but they do not cover you on any French A road that is most of mainland France and nor can you get a refund of call-out charge
Hi , ive just taken out 2 policies for breakdown cover with 2gether . Yes it it very cheap as i was with the AA for 23 years but had to cancel as they wanted £156.00 to renew. although the AA did cover everything there was a lot that i really did not need so it was a waist of money. I have taken the uk cover for my wife and i and my daughter at a cost of £70.00 for the first year, yes there are a few things that they do not cover such as puntures flat batteries these you will have to pay a small fee for them to get you back on the road but the savings i have made out way the cost of these. hope this is of some help to you.
I bought this breakdown and after 3 months i called them to come and rescue me and my car brokedown and i had my 13 months son in car, they said they will come in 90 mins, and i asked them can i go to mall as i need to take him to toilet, they said yes, guy will call you. in the mean time the guy cam and went back and when we went back to car. No one was there and on calling them they said i uave to pay £98 if i want them to come back. So after long discussion nothing happen. I had to arrange someone else. It was disaster, i was on the road with my wife and 13 months son for 4 hours. And they did not care about that. When i ask them to tell me speak to supervison thry said he or she is off now, will be back next day.
So please pay some extra and get breakdown fron a good company. This company is cheap but will not help you at all when you breakdown.

I wouldn't touch this Company with a Bargepole!!
Very cheap as you say. I rang them as my car wouldn't start & said to them that I haven't used my car for several weeks & straight away the bloke I was speaking to said that they couldn't come out to my car because it hadn't been maintained!! I'm registered disabled so rely on my car to get around but I recently lost my husband which is why I hadn't been out for several weeks. Anyway, it looks like you Get What You Pay For!!
So it's back to the AA for me from now on. I'd been with The AA for well over 40 yrs & never had a problem with them but to save money I changed to this useless Company called Together Ins Company and I made a big Mistake - but have learned by it though!!! I wished I'd researched their feedback before I changed to them!! Their Feedback is absolutely terrible with very unhappy customers & very bad customer service.
