DT Quick GK 231

Does anybody else think that there may be a mistake in top left hand corner of the quick GK today? I have tried everywhere to find a synonym for "deep narrow gorge" and failed. The answer I have for 1D, 2D and 3D together with the answer I have for 9A leave me with ?a?e?e for 7A, and I am stumped.
