Stumped by very last one, as ever: 22d. Tying up limb to protect a part of it (8). -E-E-I-G. I have some ideas, but none seem to work!

And why did it stump me? Because I had categories instead of categorise for an across clue, giving my E instead of S. Must learn to be more careful.

Annoyingly, it didn't cross my mind that the jumbo crosswords might be in yesterday's paper so I didn't buy it (assuming that this was in yesterday's paper).

Yes it was yesterday's Times. By the way, I just heard that I won Mephisto 2676. I've been sending in prize crosswords for decades and had never ever won anything, so was beginning to think that God didn't exist. Now I have definitive proof that He does.
