I've got one to go...

28) Search for something stolen managed with enthusiasm - article not found. I've got RAN_EL. Is it ranzel ( "ran" for managed plus "zeal" for enthusiasm minus the article)? Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance

yes RANZEL

Chambers gives it as a Orkney and Shetland word for stolen property, and the word play is as you have it.
