2 year old getting out Car Seat

My little escapee is constantly getting out the car seat no matter how tight he is tied in. Only the other day I had to stop and get him out the boot as he'd got out his seat and climbed over the back seats

He is now opening the car window, which automatic so cant lock it. Which makes me even more worried as he could be out the seat and window in seconds

I heard there is a clip in America they use to clip the 5 point harness together so they cant get the straps down, but its illegal in this country in case of a crash which is understandable but the way i'm going I'm going to cause a crash because i'm focusing more on him than the road

Any sugestions?

I seem to remember tieing a muslin cloth around the buckle to stop it being opened when my two went through that phase. A bit of bribery in the form of a sweet or other favourite food at the end of the journey if he stays in his seat might work as well.

Why not try spending a bit more time with him? Play with him, talk to him but above all, enjoy him. It sounds as if you are having a constant battle with him. That can't be right!
Your 2 year old should be your best friend. He should be an absolute joy to have around.
Does his dad have the same problems as you do? (No, don't tell me - I think I can guess!)
