I didn't realise cigarettes were so dear. Makes me doubly glad I don't smoke. Sorry to intrude (just nosy)
Question Author
Nor did I, Star. 20 a day wouldn't be considered many yet they'd cost £50 a week.
Are they the additive-free cigarettes that Marty was talking about, Sandy?
Question Author
Errr... no.
Haven't seen any of those for a few years now, capstan full strength ( powerful fags those are ).
I could buy groceries for a week with that amount sandy - only for me of course.
As we say here in the Midlands ....."My Giddy Aunt!!!" As a non-smoker, I didn't know cigarettes were that expensive! How DO people afford to smoke?
Sandy, so they're not what Marty was talking about?
Question Author
No. I think Marty may have been talking about wacky bakky.
Oh, I see. I know nothing about cigarettes - not even the wacky ones. When he mentioned 'additive-free' I thought I might recommend them to my mother in law - but in that case, perhaps not.
Well these fags are pretty much additive free
The lads outside the pub put additives in to make them smell herbal :)
Is this what you are looking for,Naomi?

Pasta, that looks more like it. I didn't know anything like that was available. Thanks. I'll tell her - although whether she'll listen is another matter. She's a very determined lady! :o)
I think Holland & Barrett stock them...or health food shops.
I smoked them briefly a few years ago-simply because I fancied smoking something that was not harmful.
Thanks very much Pasta. I'll check out Holland & Barrett too.
Vanilla would smell nice too, wouldn't it - much nicer than ordinary cigarette smoke.
Starbuck, I love the smell of vanilla. Let's hope I'm not tempted. :o)
