Pudding from the late 70's early 80's?

I'm almost certain it was one of those packets in a box type thing. The very fact my mum bought it and made it strongly suggests there wasn't much skill involved in it!
I vaguely recall some kind of sponge mix, and gooey sauce which you poured on the top, bunged in the oven and the sauce would sink to the bottom and make an upside down sponge with sauce pudding. Or was it the only way round? You put sauce in first then sponge mix?
Anyhoo, considering my vagueness it's hardly surprising that I can't find it on Google is it?
Anyone else remember it?

The Hot Crunch Pudding came in a packet containing two sachets. The first contained a powder which when mixed with hot water from the kettle became a gloopy custard like pudding. Once this was decanted into individual bowls the second sachet came into play. This contained a crunchy topping, a bit like biscuit crumbs or the top of an apple crumble, which could be sprinkled over the pudding to give it some added texture

Might it have been one of the desserts in the Symingtons Range such as a creme caramel or blancmanges. In the back of my brain there is an image of a box with blue printing and a pic of the dessert on it, but I can't read the letters. We used to have a grocery shop many, many years ago where we served the customer, so I must have handled quite a few in my time. If it comes back to me me I will post. If it doesn't I'll ask my mum, she might remember.
