I have a mobile hairdresser do mine. We have a barter system - she does my hair and I do her accounts.
I give her a pressie for her birthday and Xmas in lieu of tips

Just curious, I had mine done today £25 and a tip of £5. He spent nearly an hour on it, did a good job and the tip was for the girl who shampooed it.

I have a Number One weekly on a Friday for £6.00 - no washing or blow-drying required. I give them £10 at Christmas towards their drinks kitty.

If they ask for a tip, I tell them not to fasten their shoe-laces in a revolving door.
