Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I rather muddled through this cleverly constructed puzzle guessing how down entries were entered before knowing how across entries were entered. However a couple of slapdash entries held me up for a while but thoroughly enjoyed the home stretch.

DD If you didn't get the necessary inspiration from your tomatoes you could concentrate on 11d which is the name of a poet (6,8) who will reveal the relevant line from an epilogue.
The answer will suggest how to enter this, and the other down clues.

Can anyone help with 1 across and 2 down ? I have got everything else but I cannot figure these two out. Any help would be gratefully received.

Thank you K and All for the hints, have finally got started and rumbling along quite nicely for Mr O. It's rather relaxing to spend an hour with the EV after thechaos of the last couple of weeks, are now in the final phase and by Monday all should be sorted. Thanks again.
