What's gone wrong with the search facility?? - or is it just me?

It went walkabout just after 6am this morning for a while. Has been sticky since then.

I haven't used the search this morning but the site is so slow for me. Everything else is loading really fast.

Not used 'search' but the site keeps dropping out on Chrome.

I've got IE8. I can't enter an answer to a Science question. I keep getting the "Cannot display the page" display.

It definitely appears to be the AnswerBank site which is having problems. Chrome, Firefox and IE struggle. Yet all other sites are fine - including SportsAB!

It's just taken me 20 mins to access the site, another 12 mins to sign in, and am now tryiny to post this at 13:00, then if it will let me log out I'm off, too long winded.
