Many thanks all-was happy with Clint-it was flatter I wasn't happy with,but settled now all finished.Cheers

I found this the easiest in the xword
13a flannel is to flatter somebody and a flatter place is less interesting (I think)

7d Clinton is ex president, remove on, left with clint (eastwood)
