It's almost certain that the first letter is R, but neither ROACH nor REACH nor anything else make any sense. Why the exclamation mark?

I can only offer QUASH, which at least means "put down": where the "ready made" comes in I really don't know!

Although I can't parse the clue properly, two things come to mind.

A roach is used in a hand-rolled (marijuana) cigarette, as opposed to a 'ready-made' one; it is also a street name for Rohypnol, a depressant which would get you 'down'...

which we deem to be TREATED although we don't see where the drink is, other than treating someone (to a drink).
