Stuck on two today. 14 across. Clue: Sequence by that old American writer (6). I have: R?N?M. Is it RANDOM as in random sequence? I don't know where the American author comes in. Also: 19 across. Clue: Mark drinks audibly (6). I have: ?R?I?E. Help please.
