Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Good morning all,

I have been doing a local quiz (St Albans) where all the answers are things you wear. No set number of letters, just cryptic, and I am stuck on the last few and would appreciate any ideas:

1. Put this on a dead cert

2.Worn at the Union meeting (can't be tutu as that's another answer)

3.If this item belongs to a large young lady, you're a wimp.

4. short sleeved for equestrian sport (I wondered 'gilet')

5.Sounds like this jacket is due for the bin ( I thought 'duster')

Thank you so much everyone. Brilliant! I did wonder about tunic as douglas has, but couldn't think what NIC would be so will go for wedding dress, very clever. Shirt - I can see it now, waistcoat - much better than my answer, as is polo shirt - and as for 'blouse' - has to be! but I would never have thought of that. Many thanks for your input, I won't wake up in the night thinking about it now!
