Guardian Query In Rufus Today
3 Answers
1d. Become acquainted with brick carrier's way of working.
I'm assuming it's MET HOD
But ...
"MET" is past tense ... "Become" is present tense ...
... so it doesn't work perfectly.
(is that the first Perfect Tense gag to appear on AB??)
Anyway ... is it a loosely worded clue? or have I missed something?
