Queen of Means Aerie, built on a towering cliff,
or in a Tower top high.
She soars above the Midlothian hills,
on lifting winds she flies.
Nungate raises her young with tender care,
until they fly away.
Their destiny to fly alone,
it is but Nature's way
QoM's prey she seek's with new repaired eye,
grasp with her French talons strong.
Then lifted into the endless Scottish sky
to sing her victory song.
By strength of her wing, she will soar on high.
Her future yet to be,
to glide beyond restricting Earth of AB.
Ed's eternity to see.
Her place in Mad 50s secure.
She's viewed now with respect.
A Symbol for the drunk and free,
She flies with no regret.
With courage yet unquestioned,
there's challenge in her cry,
She lifts herself to ghostly heights, unhindered,
Her Nungate Towers Aerie, flying high.
