this morning I had an overseas call obviously from India where the woman could not pronounce my full name properly and then said we understand you have recently had a car accident and we will make the claim for you !!!!
Yes a young guy had gone in the back of my car two weeks ago,not too much damage no one hurt and he admitted liability there and then.
I was so annoyed with this intrusion into my private life I said " whats it got to do with you you nosey cow" pi** off.
Who gives these people your details and phone number is it your insurers or the repair garage or who ?
We were laughing at this woman in India saying to her boss "vat iz nosey cow" vat does it mean !.Time wasters really got my goat.

I understand the people who actually make the calls are doing a job, so I don't moan at them. I just don't hang on long enough for them to tell me what they want.

I've had a couple recently, both of whom started by saying 'I'm not trying to sell you anything'. I just said 'Yes you are', and hung up.

How incredibly rude of you. People are just trying to earn a living. If you have an issue with it then take it up with your insurers who have passed them your details not someone whose just trying to do their job.

Just listened to him and it, er got me goat.
Dee Sa exactly the same happened to me last week after an accident. I was phoned 2 days running by Admiral (the insurer of the fully liable twit who smashed into the back of me). I took offence too but now colleagues are telling me to go for it and get a couple of hundred. Not really my style.

Oh and thickos who are higher grade to me at work get my goat!
When I have a moan I always say to the person on the phone "I know it`s not YOUR fault but etc...There`s no point in taking it out on the first port of call as they don`t make the rules. I can understand your frustration though. I`ve no idea where these companies obtain your details.
I have texts saying I have had an accident, when I haven't.
Stupid People.
Rude People.
People who take no personal responsibility or show any initative.
Overly aggressive People.
People who spit in the street.
People who hurt other People just because they can.
Cruel People.
Ignorant People.
People with extremist opinions.
Greedy and materialistic People.
Attention seeking People.

I think I'm spotting a common theme.
And I also agree with Nox, I think you were overly rude.
I've had customers phone me and say 'I know it's not YOUR fault, but...' which is quite annoying, because most of the time it WAS my fault!
nox.....how incredibly rude of a company to cold call and ring people up! if dee sa wanted to make a claim, she would....i'm sure she has contacted her insurance company already and is dealing with the situation. these companies are parasites....insurers moan when people fraudulently start making personal injury claims, but stupidly pass on private details which allow this sort of thing. my view is: insurers are greedy and stupid.....and ambulance chasers are encouraged by their behaviour. it serves them right, really and i have also had to tell 20+ cold callers to pi$$ off.....they have no right to invade my ex-directory number....but they still do.

Getting ripped off from the time you book your holiday, the weight of your cases, I would advise anyone to purchase a Digital hand held weigh er, its worth a tenner, booking your seats so you do not sit apart,
These calls from India usually show as "INTERNATIONAL" on our phone readout so we don't bother.

Nothing gets on my goat when in a good mood and everything when the reverse applies. OH just laughs and that's the best cure either way.
Adverts that are twice the volume of the regular programmes so I have to scrabble for the remote to turn the TV down
