Questions for Lie-in-King

You are always so helpful. Thank you. Do you do all the crosswords in full that you give answers to or do you just solve the clues that people post? I am intrigued. Also how are you alerted so quickly to the questions? I would love to help more but by the time I read them, another 5 people have already answered. Just wondered!!

I think the clue to mr Lie-in King can be found in the quick for today where the clue is get up late and the answer is lie-in! I think he gets these puzzles late at night and works til the wee hours!

I don't know about LiK but I don't have any of the crosswords - I just like to have a stab at answering them. I do type fast, and that helps! I'm alerted by the new posts coming into the Latest Posts notifications.

Hi jaklyn - I don't do all the crosswords out there & none at all during the week - or very rarely. There are lots of AB'ers that do puzzles I have no access to - the Scottish publications for instance, but if they're unanswered then I enjoy trying them.

I like to be confident of my answers before posting - just my way. I keep an eye on "Latest Posts" when I have the AB window on top, that's all :-)

Thank you. Long may you continue to help us. I only ever do the Times Jumbo and never send it in. I won the silver pen for the Sunday Times puzzle years ago and work on the assumption my name will not come out of the hat twice. However I like to prove to myself I can still do a crossword - sometimes with a little of your help. Bye bye

i do all the Scottish ones including the daily record and funday puzzler ,i have been fortunate enough to have won D R twice and the sunday mail once .i too rely on l i k and others when i get stuck on bad days ,,,keep up the good work,,,t y
