Hi . . i got a lateral thinking quiz which is driving me nuts .. basically there are two players who have played a round of golf, one guy scores 74 and one scores 72 ... the guy with 74 wins .. why ?
i have tried the obvious but told no .. they have the same handicap so that doesn't help, they are both the same type of golfer so the course handicap is the same for both of them (i.e one is not a junior) and it is not the last round of a 4 round tournament .. !!
any other ideas ?

Some of the above answers are of course correct IF they had been playing golf .. my own fault for not listening to the question carefully enough !!!
