Get back to me if you are going and we can make arrangements. Incidentally I won the first prize in Keith's Crossword way back in November. The bottle of whisky arrived but not the £100. Several letters enquiring about it have been completely ignored, so be warned!! C'est la vie :-)
Not good sir. I give the whisky to a pal when I win as I'm not a whisky drinker, so the £100 is mine. I haven't won this particular one, but I've managed the Silver Swanney whisky.
Will let you know if we're going, dependent on shifts. I'm off to Sunderland v Arsenal tomorrow and fancy a little flutter of a Sunderland win and Fletcher for the first goal at 8/1. I reckon Arsenal might have their eye on next week's Champions League game.

wullybaxter - Only the name of the 1st prize winner is printed the following week, 2nds & 3rds don't get a mention. So there I was, name in the paper, glass of Jura in my hand, wondering why they hadn't sent the £100 (which I intended giving to charity).....you know the rest. I hope Keith Aitken, or anyone else employed by the Scottish Daily Express is reading this. :-)
