Walking In Wales - Glyndwrs Way
sorry this question isnt an easy one! thats why I'm asking it....
A few of us are riding Bangor to Cardiff in June following National Cycle Network routes. As we're on mountain bikes I've been mapping a few off-road sections to make it more interesting.
We're riding the mountain road that runs from Machynlleth to Llanidloes. At the top of the climb there looks to be a decent off-road track that runs up to Glaswyn.
After Glaswyn we need to bear East. I notice it crosses a gorge and the track we're following is part of Glyndwrs Way. The website for this trail says parts of it are cycleable but doesnt say which section.
Looking a the topography in Google Earth worst case is we may need to get off and push for 1/4 mile - but does anyone know if this part can be cycled?
The gorge is the Clywedog Gorge if that helps!
