Hi sir.prize- I think I've learnt to live with it, and now only get concerned if they post in the wrong section AND omit clue /letters AND never respond to requests for info or acknowledge answers.
I wonder if some posters simply don't realise they can post responses to their own questions. Some have posted hundreds of questions without acknowledging answers , despite prompting/pointed comments, so maybe there is an explanation other than ignorance.

Very true factor. Ignorance is probably the answer but strangely the ones who never acknowledge help never offer any either.
