Answers.com - Anyone Tried It?
7 Answers
I am a long term user of our luvly AB and will continue using it as my core knowledge base. But I blundered into finding this (USA?) site. I have not used it or signed up. Anyone with experience of Answers.com? If so, pro's and cons please. Even ed welcome to answer (some chance, lol).
Have posted same question on ChatterBank with only one response so far.

I haven't used it , mainly because I enjoy searching out the information I need using dictionary sites and of course Wiki and general Googling.

Aaaaw, Zacs-Master and RATTER15, of course I know where you're coming from but no I am not promoting anything above our AB - re-read my question.
But sure, I pondered about submitting it but did so because this is the site to "meet" experts about anything.
Zacs-Master ty for your wording, pmsl.
Dee Sa, dunno but guess it would be americanese but I'm not going back to that site anyway. See responses to same question on Chatterbank.
No harm in having another site to contact - like having a spare-tyre in the car.
So, unlike so many ABers, I always nominate best answer. And here it's going to our dear Mamyalynne!

Totally useless in my opinion in comparison to answerbank as far as correctness and discussion of answers goes. However when researching answers the reference section of the site is excellent - they do link to wikipedia articles often but also to a good selection of other reference books. Well worth exploring.
