Does anyone have any ideas for this one. I'm pretty sure I've got the letters right, but I can't think of an answer even if one or two are wrong!

Where do the L and E come from?

The B comes from 'Bestial' as the answer to 'Like an animal or something wrong with Bastile'.
The A comes from the 2nd A of 'anagrams' as my answer to 'Some of these are these' (A-A-R-M-).
The L is my answer 'non-lethal' to 'All the non irregularities are not fatal' (N-N-E-H-L).
The E is my answer 'Adjectives' to the clue 'The white in 'The White House' for example' (-D-E-T-V-S).

Where have I gone wrong? It's really bugging me now!

adjectives fits but why is it plural? it doesn't fit the clue

The first word must be BAD, yet your A in anagrams seems correct. Maybe there's an error.

Thanks everyone. I agree about the BAD so may just send it in with the alternative letters & watch out for the answer in the next edition!
